Terms of use

Last updated 28 October 2026

These terms are between you and Meta Tags Pro (“we”, “us”), an independent software product operated from India. They cover the Meta Tags Pro Chrome extension and this website. By installing or using the extension you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The extension

The free version is provided at no cost. Pro is a paid yearly subscription that raises the site audit limit from 100 URLs to 10,000 URLs and adds the client report and exports, as described on the pricing section. Features may be improved or adjusted over time. We will not remove what a Pro plan was sold with during its paid year.

Your license

Payment and renewal

Purchases are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. Gumroad's own terms apply to payment, taxes and receipts. Pro is billed once a year at the price shown at checkout and renews until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Gumroad receipt. Pro then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered in the refund policy.

Using the site audit responsibly

The audit sends requests from your browser to the site you enter. Audit only sites you own or have permission to audit. Respect the site's wishes: the extension follows robots.txt by default, and offers a Gentle speed that sends one request a second. You are responsible for how you use it. Do not use it to overload or disrupt a website.

No warranty

The audit gives guidance based on what it can read from a page's HTML. It does not see content that only appears after scripts run, and it cannot promise any ranking or traffic result. Meta Tags Pro is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with Meta Tags Pro is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost traffic or indirect losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept it.
